Today is photo Friday and it’s also my last day in Malaysia. While the internet access has been scant, the experiences have been plentiful. And let’s face it, that’s the best way round for things to be.
So, as I’m typing this out on an iPad at the speed of the snarling traffic in KL (slow, almost stationary) I can tell you now that it’s not going to be a long one.
However, I did want to give you a sneak preview, a quick taste of Malaysia through these photos (all mine, but I can’t watermark them from here.)
Enjoy. The full story is on its way…

Wow! That first picture has so much texture, I just want to reach out and touch it. Very nice.
Nice preview! I’m looking forward to seeing your posts about your trip.
Love the pics and how you captured them. Glad you had a blast here in West Malaysia while it was a real honor and pleasure to have met the both of you here in KL city together with Mei. I hope the food was awesome and you had a safe flight back.

I can’t wait to see more photos and to read about your journey through Malaysia. Definitely one of the destinations on my radar!
Ah…I enjoyed it so much. So much variety, so little hassle. Working on the photos & words…will be back soon!
Glad that you loved your trip here to Malaysia. On your next trip let us know and we could probably meet up for coffee. The first photo that you took is of Cameron Highland Tea plantation right?
Correct! The Boh plantation… Coffee next time!
Abi, a fantastic photo!!
We will be visiting Malaysia soon and I want to see that green! :))
I found a tour here – just the first googled link, but not sure how expensive it is..
Did you drive there or took a tour?
We will not be able to rent a car, so can rely only on ourselves and public transport :))
Cheers,
Natalie
Hi Natalie. We hired a car for the whole trip through western Malaysia…(pretty easy driving except from between Georgetown to Terengganu.)

Yes, I went to KL – just have been very slow in writing it up! I should look up Malaysia Kitchen next time around – I was very lucky to have the tips from the Malaysian bloggers listed above! Oh, I want to go back…

Hi Abi,
Nice photos!
And I like how you say,
“While the internet access has been scant, the experiences have been plentiful. And let’s face it, that’s the best way round for things to be.”
Amen to that! And your photos leave us wanting more! Good job.
