Sometimes, on Friday you just need a taste of beauty. And when I say you, I mean me. Ooph, and now it sounds like I’m breaking up with you. Roll on sweet weekend!
The view from where I’m sitting involves a stack of post-it notes, papers and files. Through the window, a limp and lifeless cloud suffocates the air, not shifting, not darkening. Nothing.
So instead, I bring you images from Bequia Island in St Vincent & The Grenadines. Because, well, even though I can’t explain why, they are beautiful.
Enjoy! (And if you’re the kind of person who reads aloud in your head then don’t worry, I won’t spill your secret. But Bequia sounds like Beck-way…)
Happy Friday everyone.
Bequia Island

Disclosure: I received a complimentary stay at the new and lovely Bequia Beach Hotel. Great for beachfront access and decorated in vintage suitcases and posters from the nostalgic era of travel. You know, those days when you didn’t need to undress in front of security and pay a premium for a small clear plastic bag.

LOL! You’re hilarious. I’d heard of Bequia a few years back. Looks lovely and your photos definitely make me want to visit. Is that breadfruit being picked? I think I need an island getaway soon…
I’m 98% sure that it’s breadfruit. But I couldn’t confirm my source so don’t quote me on it!!
Ahhh, just what I needed on a wet and miserable Melbourne day.
Anything with blue water and yachts pretty much does it for me every time. Ta :)
ps. and here was me thinking everybody reads allowed in their head!
Haha! Perhaps it’s just you and me, Linda ;)
