Inside the Travel Lab’s New Year Resolutions

The astute among you will have noticed that it is not January 1st, so what am I doing making New Year’s Resolutions? It’s the Chinese New Year, of course.*

Here are my resolutions for Inside the Travel Lab in 2010:

-   Explore whether  “green travel” exists. I clearly hope that it does. I like green. I love travel. However, I am suspicious of those “offset your carbon footprint” tickboxes and want to dig a little deeper.

-          Launch my Unusual Journey Interviews. I’m really excited about these – they’ll be a chance to get to know people who’ve travelled the world in a different and interesting way.

-          Find out how to learn a language. As I battle with (sorry, learn) Spanish after a year of trying to do the same with French, I think it’s about time I explored the science behind learning languages. It’s time to cut through the muddled advice and vague rumours and find a strategy that works.

-          Spread the word about the importance of learning CPR

Travel More...

And then of course, I plan to:

-Travel more

-Have a lot of fun. Life shouldn’t always be serious….

*Allegations that this is a total coincidence and merely an excuse to explain a six week delay are completely founded.
