Surfing the Web
Surfing the web is such a cool expression that sometimes I even fool myself. Thing is, most of the time when you try to surf – particularly in the beginning – you fall off, inhale saltwater and choke before being hit on the head by your very own surfboard.
(Where’s she going with this?) I’m having that kind of surfing experience with the web right now. Sincere apologies for any disruptions.
As you’ve probably noticed if you’ve been here before, I’m changing from blogger to wordpress. If you came here expecting this:

Then don’t worry, you’ve come to the right place. I’m just sorting out a few teething problems. (Damn, I meant to say something clever about sex-wax and surfboards here but I’ve ended up in the realm of dentistry. Argh.)
Feel free to comment, suggest, whinge and whine on the whole process either in the comment fields below or in my new and snazzy contact form.
Hasta luego.

I really like the new look! I’ve thought about changing up mine as well, but it seems intimidating… was it hard?
by the way, I’m going to postpone pandas for another time… it’s going to be shanghai instead!
Thanks – I certainly have a lot more flexibility with this site – and I think it’s easier to navigate.
The first 80% of moving it over was pretty easy – now it’s just figuring out those last little bits and updating the odd photo and link.
I’ll write a post on it soon – there are some great blogs out there to help it run as smoothly as possible.
(PS – If you’re not worried about keeping previous links or page rank or anything like that then it’s even easier.)
I look forward to your Shanghai trip – it’s been a long while since I was there as well!
PS – I know I ought to update the gravatars so that we don’t all look like monsters all the time…but I’m starting to grow fond of them
