Ranthambore National Park in India is a natural prowling ground for tigers. With only 4000 left on the planet – a tiger obsession seeps through travellers shivering in safari jeeps, staring at ghostly tiger tracks.
Yet tigers are not the only wildlife worth seeing here. Monkeys, cobras, Sambar deer, kingfishers, woodpeckers and crocodiles…….hours spent searching for tigers is time well spent.
