A Dazzling Concert Hall in LA

Frank Gehry Walt Disney Concert Hall - With blue skies and shot at an angle in LA, America

Gehry's Concert Hall in LA

The dazzling (if incongruously named) Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA, designed by Frank Gehry.

I first fell in love with Gehry’s work in Bilbao, as I watched a solitary scarlet jogger pass by the silver scales of the Museo Guggenheim. When I finally reached Los Angeles, in between checking out the infamous “Hollywood” sign, the Chinese Theatre and colliding with the police, the paps and Heidi Klum (more on that later), I asked my generous hosts for a lift downtown to check it out: the Frank Gehry Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Awkward name, stunning building. Enjoy the photos!

That’s a really beautiful architectural shot.

    Thanks. I think it’s an under-appreciated building…
