Travel the world from the comfort of a blog, that’s (kind of) the promise from Lonely Planet Blogsherpa Beta.
Lonely Planet, those guys that have published one or two things about travel over the years, have now travelled the cyber-world to catch up with some of the world’s most seasoned travel bloggers.
I’m thrilled to be one of them and also to discover the high quality travel blogs from the rest.
Some, I already knew about such as Ever the Nomad, the blog from experienced author Anja Mutic, and Happytimeblog, my favourite backpacking blog from Aaron & Georgie.
Yet the Blogsherpa programme includes photographers, technicians, aid workers, teachers, parents and more from pretty much all over the world.
I’ve already grouped the best travel blogs for you here, breaking them down by category and “travel of expertise.” Now, though, there’s a Squidoo page as well that collects (with permission) each blog’s feed and funnels them into one place.
So, from the comfort of your own computer screen, indulge in yet more world travel.
