The Packing Essentials
Between the winding lanes of Santa Cruz, sprawling plazas, and late-night tapas hopping, comfortable shoes are absolutely essential. I’d also recommend carrying a reusable water bottle – the Andalusian sun can be relentless, especially in summer.
You’ll also want a sturdy suitcase that can handle cobbled streets, tiled courtyards, and the occasional apartment staircase. I swear by the Level 8 suitcases – they glide effortlessly through busy airports and old town streets alike, and their clever compartment layout leaves plenty of room for ceramics, olive oil and other treasures you’ll inevitably bring home.

Head to the Setas de Sevilla (Metropol Parasol) at sunset or dusk rather than the middle of the day to avoid the crowds.
