You know Abi I keep coming across professionals like you and corporate people who just threw it all in and when for a more stress free and enjoyable life. I’m glad you’re doing what you want, so many don’t often get or take the chance! I’m working at it myself. Love the elephants, reminds of jungle book.
Thanks. You know, I’m not sure where society gets the notion that you can only have “one” career in your life from, anyway. So few jobs truly need you to do nothing other than them. Even Olympic athletes and Prime Ministers have more than one career ;) Enjoy the elephants and your plans.
OMG, Abi! Just found this through SU, and I’m soooo jealous! Botswana is in our Top 5 Dream Destinations, and of course the Okavango Delta is the heart of it all for wildlife lovers. So cool that you got to go over it in a helicopter. Hopefully going to make it there this year, fingers crossed!
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you – the Okavango Delta was an outstanding, truly memorable place. Many of the safari lodges are fly-in only, so even the usual humdrum travel logistics of getting to your hotel becomes spectacular!
